Why Many Countries Are Rejecting Nigerian Exports – Foreign Minister

 The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Geoffrey Onyeama on Saturday lamented the rejection of Nigerian exports by other countries. Mr Onyeama was speaking at a meeting in Abuja with the Executive Director of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, Olusegun Awolowo. JUST IN: Lagos Judicial Panel Admits Autopsy Reports Of 99 Corpses Recovered On October 2020

  The Lagos Judicial Panel on Restitution for Victims of SARS and other related abuses has admitted in evidence post mortem results and Compact Discs of all 99 corpses deposited at the Lagos morgue between the 20th and the 27th of October 2020. A consultant pathologist to the Lagos State Government, Professor John Obafunwa, who is testifying before the panel brought the results following an order made on June 5, 2020, for it to be produced. The documents were contained in two nylon bags- blue and white. The Chairman of the panel, Justice Doris Okuwobi admitted the documents in evidence after the counsel to some EndSARS protesters, Yinka Olumide-Fusika (SAN) moved for the documents to be admitted. There was no objection from other parties before the panel. The Baptist conference calls for immediate release of 121 students of Bethel Baptist high school Kaduna.

  The Southern Kaduna Baptist Conference (SKBC) has called for immediate and unconditional release of 121 students of Bethel Baptist High School, Damishi, Kaduna, abducted on June 5. President of the Conference, Rev. Donald Arak, made the call in a statement issued in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, on Saturday. Gunmen invaded the school and took away scores of students and have demanded for bags of rice, beans, vegetable oil and salt among other foodstuffs from the school to keep feeding their victims. Arak described the abduction of the students as ungodly, just as he wondered how minors could be forcefully taken without considering the impact on their mental health.

Kaduna Security: Bandits Kidnap Woman And Her Three Children in Zaria

 Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a woman and her three kids in Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The bandits according to eyewitnesses, stormed the town Milgoma opposite the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) in Shika, Zaria, on Friday. They broke into the house of the woman through the gate, and thereafter, took the woman and her three children away to an unknown destination. While the Police authorities are yet to confirm the incident, locals said the bandits came through a village called ‘Nasarawan Buhari’ and later went away with the four victims through another village called ‘Biye’. The woman’s husband, who is a lecturer at the Federal University Dutsima in Katsina State was not around when the incident occurred, but a resident of the community told Channels Television that some members of a local vigilante were able to repel the bandits from taking away more people.
